Dash (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Shopify app.
Information We Collect
Dash collects information necessary to provide our service, including your Shopify store data (products, collections, locations, orders), account information provided through Shopify's authentication, and usage data such as modifier configurations and order analytics. We do not collect personal customer data beyond what Shopify provides through its standard API scopes.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve Dash, including syncing your products and collections, processing modifier configurations, tracking orders with modifiers for analytics, and managing your subscription. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on industry-standard cloud infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We implement multi-tenant isolation so that each store's data is strictly separated. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated sessions through Shopify's OAuth flow.
Shopify API Data
Dash accesses your Shopify store through the following API scopes: read_products, write_products, read_orders, read_locations, read_inventory, write_files, read_publications, and write_publications. We only access data necessary for the app's functionality and do not store unnecessary Shopify data.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your Dash subscription is active. If you uninstall the app, your data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days. You can request immediate data deletion by contacting us.
Cookies and Tracking
Dash uses session cookies required for Shopify app authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels within the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date.
